Claudia Schneider

Country Manager, Germany, PMI Europe

As Country Manager for Germany, Claudia Schneider is responsible for growing PMI’s credit enhancement business in Germany and developing strategic relationships throughout the banking community.

Prior to joining PMI, Schneider was head of the RMBS group at the German investment finance bank Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW), where she managed European mortgage and SME loan portfolios. Schneider was instrumental in building KfW’s highly successful “Provide” platform in Germany, which enables lenders to reduce credit risk and regulatory capital on their residential mortgage portfolios, and in extending the programme to several new countries throughout Europe.

Claudia holds a Master’s degree from the University of Cologne in Germany and has studied in economics at the Universities of Cologne in Germany and of Madrid in Spain.
